Kerala State Lotteries launched the Christmas New Year Bumper which is run by the Kerala State Lottery Department. The Kerala government has increased the first prize of the lottery to Rs 16 crore and last year the first prize was Rs 12 crore. X'mas New Year Bumper Lottery of 2022-2023 printed in 10 series.

Transport Minister Antony Raju, who presided, said that the reliability and credibility of the Kerala Lottery have made it popular among the public. Balagopal said that the prizes are arranged in such a way that 5 percent of the ticket buyers will get the prize.
